  5. The Capacity Planning module produces four different types of plan from the
  6. works order books: pure, infinite, finite and prioritised finite. It
  7. incorporates information from the WIP module, and specifies whether a machine
  8. or operator can be used as a finite or an infinite resource. The module
  9. determines whether to relax or include delay times in the schedule, and
  10. prioritises operations based on the due date and remaining processing time. It
  11. allows the user to examine bottlenecks and make adjustments to relieve them,
  12. replan jobs by changing dates and operations, and create what-if plans using
  13. hypothetical resources.
